If you can identify any of the images in the 'Unidentitifed' section, please use the icon under the image to change it's title and move it to the relevant 'Identified' category (to help keep the Unidentified Sections clutter-free).
| Can't see how I move an image once ID'd. Or am I missing something ?

Roger | It's one of those things I'm afraid Roger, Ben
The unidentified galleries and identified galleries are two different databases and use different software versions too!
Stu is well aware of the problem but in the end it will involve some cost to put right Meanwhile the only way to get around this is to reload the image(s) into the Identified galleries.

I assume you mean both within the Image Archives?
Obviously if you want the image in the main galleries, they will have to be uploaded again. |

| | | Re: Moving images from Un-ID'd to ID'd archive I must admit I've just been leaving images in the Unidentified section after people have identified them for me. Does this matter, or should I be moving them to the Identified section of Image Archives (presumably by reporting them to a mod)? Or should I just edit the title (I think that's possible)? |

It's best to try and keep the unidentified as clear of identified images as possible. |

It's best to try and keep the unidentified as clear of identified images as possible. | Is the easiest thing to report them to a mod, asking for them to be moved? (I'm not sure what you mean by 'the link' - the forum code or the URL?)
And should I do the same for images in 'Forum Images' that have been identified?
Thanks. |

It's best to try and keep the unidentified as clear of identified images as possible. | Hi Graham.I have had two identified that are in the unidentified gallery.I have already uploaded one to the main gallery and will be uploading the other one maybe tomorrow. I see that I could change the photo but not delete it so to keep the Unidentified clear of identified perhaps there could be a way for us to delete from that gallery ,once they are identified, to save you mods from having to clear them out

We created the identified galleries under the Archives, just so that we can keep the unidentified in some sort of order.
It's a shame that at the moment there's no easy way of moving them apart from us mods doing it.
It's not too much of a problem, after all I'm pretty new here and haven't got much to do.. |

Thanks. | The forum code will be fine. It's just to make certain we move the right ones!
We can move forum images to identified images, provided there's the correct gallery for them. Any of the Archive galleries can be moved to any other Archive, it's just not possible to move them over to the main galleries. |

| | | Re: Moving images from Un-ID'd to ID'd archive Graham,
Just checking - you're saying an image can go from Forum Images to Identified in the Archive Gallery , even if its referred to in a forum post?
I'll report my identified photos to a mod, rather than mailing you with quite a large number of changes, if that's OK.
Thanks,
Pete |

| | | Re: Moving images from Un-ID'd to ID'd archive Sorry - just realised my last qustion was a bit daft. If you can move an image that's referenced in a post to Identified, I guess it doesn't matter if it was in Forum Images or Unidentified.
I was just concerned that if you moved a post that was referenced in a post, the post and forum would be mucked up. |
