something strange going on

I don't know if this is just happening to me/my machine, but thought I'd report it just in case:

I've noticed today that when browsing the forums I seem to be able to click on and view forum images (i.e. those stored in the archive) from within individual threads, without being logged in .

I thought that maybe the images had been linked to gallery images (which can be viewed by all) and not the Archive, but not so.

I've cleared my history and emptied my cache etc. but still I am able to click on and view these images.

As I said, it may be me/my machine, but has anyone else had this today? It's not something I've seen before. I'm just a bit confused as it says in the 'upload to archive' instructions that the images can't be seen by visitors

An update to this:

It's getting stranger by the minute - some forum images I can view without being logged in, some I can't . I think it must be me/my machine?

...think I'll go for a lie down for a while .

Don't panic Thea - it's not just you.

I read your post earlier and remembered it had happened to me today too - I've logged out and had a browse at what I'd viewed earlier.

I can see the Oxford Island Post of flowers when I'm logged off - but others that I've tried to view I get the "You do not have permisssion ..........." message

Some times I have to log in each time I view a photo even if I tick the box to stay logged in
Probably a minor glitch
