First time ive put pics on but cant find them .

Hello

We are finding it very difficult to be able to put photos on the site,we have had help from other members which we appreciate very much . Last night monday 21 apr we managed to put 1 pic up on the archive for 2 goldfinches, we did see them on there once ,but have since tried to find them but dont seem to be able to,

where would they have gone? I suppose it will be easier once we get use to it

but it certaintly seems difficult to start with, I need a step by step guide from start to finish of how to get the photos there, any ideas much appreciated sheila .

If all else fails carry out a search using your Username and All Categories: Your Goldfinches are in the Archive under Identified Birds.

You should be able to find your own photos by clicking on the 'My Photos' link near the top-left of the gallery or image library (archive)

Thanks for your help, cybershot I went to username punched in details name password and e mail address but its coming back as invalid, any ideas what to try next thanks sheila

Thanks stuart for your help, ive done what you said gallery then my photos but its coming back as Does not contain any images.

I think you're probably trying the gallery, but your photos are in the image archive

When you click on 'Gallery' in the main menu you are taken to a page relating to the main Gallery where you will find links to 'My Photos', 'Search', etc for that gallery. Also on that page is a link to 'Image Archive' which takes you to a page relating to the Archive, where there are a similar series of links to 'My Photos', 'Search' etc for that particular gallery.

It can be confusing until you get used to it Sheila, especially as there are also links to Wildlife Photography (= Gallery) and Image Library (= Archive)

Yes they are the ones im looking for , they are the first photos ive taken with camera, I was sitting in the summer house when I took the goldies one only about 8 foot away. ive got some of pond and garden to go on as yet, if I can get that far

By your last very clear instructions I got there PDQ (pretty dam quick). Somewhere along the way I found someone had commented on my photo do you know how I go about it to find it please.

Nice photo eventually Shei.

For the forum I always upload to the "image archive"
then scroll to forum images..

I don't know why you have had this problem.
Hope you fined it a bit easier next time..

I think you may well find that the comment to which you are referring is actually the one you yourself made on Mon April 21, 2008 9:04pm. I cannot trace any others.
