Question Logging in and out!?

Ok... I think it might just be my computer, but I'm going to say it anyway!
When I want to come off of the computer, I'm always on WAB. So, I click the 'Logout' button, and when the box comes up, I click 'ok'. My screen then tells me: 'all cookies cleared', and the box to sign in is there!
But the next time I come on WAB, I'm always already signed in!? And it's quite confusing, because I know I signed out... and nobody else knows my password, so how can I be signed in?
This started to happen at the same time as the new website, and I'm just wondering if it is a glitch, or is this happening to anyone else? It's not very good because anyone who uses this computer could visit WAB and protend to be me, sending messages!
Please can I have an explantion?

Re: Logging in and out!?

i think its likely that you have clicked stay logged in (little tick box) which will automatically log you in unless you clear your temp internet files.

on a multi user computer it is good practice to clear everything at the end of each session. - to do this in vista you go to tools and click delete browsing history, then delete all. In xp tools is a sub menu of internet options and you have to select delete cookies, delete temp files, and clear history.

Re: Logging in and out!?

Thanks. I've just logged out, then in again, and I didn't check the box! Am hoping this will work!
It's not working! Ah well. I can live with it! I think I have a new plan... I'll log out, and ask dad to log in, and NOT tick the box! Then he'll log out, and hopefully everything will be back to normal!

it wont work until you clear your cookies temp files and cache - or ask your dad to do it - once thats been done if you dont tick the box again it should no longer be an issue.

The other thing it might be is if you are using google toolbar that can be set up to remember paswords etc - if its that you need to disable it (again ask your dad)

Re: Logging in and out!?

The Google's already disabled! I'm not really bothered about it, I just wanted to mainly know if it was me alone! But I'll ask Mum or Dad, later!
Thanks for your help, much appreciated!

Re: Logging in and out!?

This has started happening to me today, and I definitely didn't tick the stay logged in box. I shall take the above advice and try clearing the temp files and the like.

Edit: Tried that and it did the trick
