Is it just me or are everybody's pages taking ages to load because (apparently) of waiting for GoogleAds?

I remember having the exact same issue with an update to XP - and cant help wondering if this conflict is more to do with MS taking a pop at their rival google than it is to do with spam ware control.

My partner has a shop and bought a new laptop with MS vista to use for ordering goods She signed up to bt broadband but the internet is very slow, taking ages for some pages to load.
Im wondering if this could be the same problem, if so how do I turn of the built in anti-spamware?

Not convinced that it's always software on the computer.
My computer slows down each evening when the virus scan operates but this morning WAB (and WaW) were extremely slow - I tried a few times between 0800-1100 and it was taking at least a minute to load a screen - had no problem with any other fora or, indeed, any other internet use. No real problem here now although perhaps a little slower than usual? | | |
