Sorry to be a bit stupid or something like it but how long is it estimated that image approval will take to the new site its just that I uploaded some on Coal Tits Greenfly and Shrubs but cannot see them anywere not even the icon for image awaiting approval yet iamge of Loch tay uploaded at about same time is on display?
I know there will be some problems but if they have gone walkabout I can then upload them again.

Bill, those images must have been rejected. Were they correctly titled?

Hello Matt the images were given the common name Coal Tit (Parus ater) Aphids and Apple Blossom (Penstemon),The Coal Tits I put down for sub Section in Bird Photography /Tits Aphids into insects and apple blossom into trees and shrubs.
I did have problems at first uploading them kept coming back image to small must be 800x600 which they were but would`nt accept the and had to take them upto 800x 1133 -1111x1428 at 380kbs does this help any.other than that the images are sharp and clear

I can only recommend that you try again Bill, the gallery has been in a transition state for a few days so they may have got lost somewhere along the way. Just make sure that they are titled correctly and at least 800 pixels wide (even if portrait).

Thanks alot Matt will retry and start from scratch with originals instead of resizing web images

I think something similar must have happened to mine too, I uploaded it on the 8th, it wasn't rejected and the normal thing came up waiting for approval - and it's nowhere. I will give mine another try too
