I use a combination of broadband and PSP and I've noticed that very occasionally when saving an edited pic in PSP it goes unrecognized when I come to search for it on my pic files, depending how it is labelled. Once on my hard drive with a recognized image file extension I have no trouble uploading around the web. The other area worth investigating is your PC security settings; sometimes firewalls and pop-up blockers etc can cause obstructions.
Apologies if I'm covering old ground and adding to your frustration.

The guidelines haven't been re-written yet, so yes, it's unlimited. It's best to keep the image size down to 1600 pixels at most, but not essential. |

Pauline | It's got to be something on your computer Pauline. The images you sent me to upload that you couldn't, all went straight in without any modification from me. |

David | Thanks David - you're a sweetheart for answering - I should think I'm faced with it going back to the shop for a week or so and coming back different to what I know yet again - but think that may be the only port in the storm left now.
Ta for thinking about it

Yes I think so too - sighs of resignation - shop visit looming - loss of machine for days - high risk of suicide Its just a matter of when now rather than if - and the sooner I part with it the sooner it might come back working ... oh joy

Mark H | The bottom bar shows the website is looking and a progress bar moves along - gets to half way then stops and finally a page is displayed (the wording of which I can't remember - but basically its saying no way jose). When they went thro before it was literally in the blink of an eye - so as soon as I see the progress bar I know its not going to work - even allowing waiting in case there is a lot of uploading in a queue before me......... my tower won't let WAB in to extract the image. I've got pop ups off for this site - but there is the question of firewall settings? I have seen other menues while looking and if asked have allowed access to WAB but something - somewhere I think is switched on or off and maybe quite easy to find by my young friend in the shop....... or maybe not.........

Pauline | we also need as much detail as we can get on every stage of what and how your doing things. The 'no way jose' bit might have a critical word in the error message that tells us everything we need to know about what's stopping them uploading |

Shirl | Well I might go as far as a Red Bull As usual with these things I don't understand it - I haven't done anything different than I have been doing since Sept on and off? Now I can go thro my latest shots and prepare them for WAB at last
And APOLOGIES in advance mods - I've got that excited I think I've just uploaded the exact same shot of Blea Tarn twice - very sorry - whoever is checking them will probably realise what I've done and delete one please - sorry for that

Mark H | That really is sad, we had casualties last year but we have a really healthy population now, let's hope it stays that way. This year the disaster came from the floods in summer. I could spend every day looking Water Voles!
