Making the title Bold

I can't work out how to make the font bold in the thread title...I have tried putting [B} etc but then this shows up when posting. I'm sorry, I expect its very easy to do!

Re: Making the title Bold

you can't do it. all titles are the same format and any titles that aren't written in uppercase are usually edited back to lower case. why do you want to make the title bold?

Re: Making the title Bold

Aren`t the titles only bold when you have unread posts in a thread?

Re: Making the title Bold

yep, all are bold, unless the viewer has read all the posts in the thread, then they go to normal (and there's no way to bold the title to override the change)

I find this a very easy and time-saving system. One quick glance can take me to unread posts instead of trawling through them all.

Because some posts seemed to be bold and others normal. I had no idea about them going back to normal after being viewed. Now I know.
Thanks

Re: Making the title Bold

I agree if it was not for the bold (unread) normal ( read) thing ..my time on WAB would be a lot more hassle and time consuming....I mostly use this funtion to see when someone else has replied in a thread convo?...as it goes back to bold after you have read the thread if someone else has posted a reply?...

Re: Making the title Bold

Sorry Monkster! I'm sure you are not!! It just looks obvious now.I'm usually waiting and waiting for pages to load, as on dial up, so don't take these things in properly. My excuse anyway...

Re: Making the title Bold

I do have broadband not dial up but my technique is to keep using the page refresh button...

So i post a new thread or reply in a thread...then either in the main forum page watching the new posts column or in "Your posts" page....i just keep clicking the refresh button and you then instantly get told when someone has replied when the thread turns dark blue again...
the bold/unbold....do not change with the page just open...in other words just by watching...it only changes when the page is refreshed or you look at something and then come back if that makes sense?...so refresh , refresh...
