Wild Places Problem

Have been editing/updating all the data for the lizard point on wild places and come up with a validation error.
Theres is a red asterix next to the name. Does this mean it needs a new name and therefore we cant edit an exsisting post.

Re: Site problems

The red asterix only means that the field must be completed. Not too sure what has caused the validation error, I'll take a look in the log to see if there's anything obvious. In the meantime, if you could save the updates as The Lizard 2, your updates won't be lost and I can see if there's any unusual in the entries

Thanks

Stu

Re: Site problems

yes guessed the asterix after.

Did try before to put under The Lizard Peninsular, would not allow me to save.

all fields were as such

Decription
The Lizard Peninsula is unique. Stunningly beautiful at any time of the year, there is nowhere quite like it anywhere else in Britain. It is for this reason that the Lizard has been a continuing source of inspiration for artists and writers. Almost surrounded by the sea, the peninsula stands alone, in a very real sense, from the rest of the county. In a line from London to Land’s End, the backbone of Cornwall is a route to somewhere.
The Lizard. Not a cross-roads, a junction, or a place to drive through, but a journey’s end, a destination. Standing proud in the sea, the peninsula presents a rugged face to the elements, yet paradoxically the climate is probably the warmest in Britain. The air is crisp, clear and unpolluted by industry. The rocks and cliffs of the coastline offer shelter to the tiny fishing villages huddled into their coves, looking now much as they did centuries ago.
It is an ancient place, where history is indelibly inscribed on the landscape. For these reasons, the Lizard Peninsula has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is recognised as being of international botanical importance - and here you can find 15 of Britain’s rarest plants! The warm local climate has led to the abundant growth of sub-tropical vegetation, and a constant profusion of colour all year round.

Re: Wild Places Problem

I think I've found and fixed the problem as to why you couldn't edit the page. I managed to edit it using another account and it worked for me, but could you try it by adding some of the info you've posted above into the lizard page.

Thanks

Stu

P.S. Yep, you can select more than one site type by holding down the CTRL key while selecting types.

That's webpage code that you've cut and pasted into the OS box. I've changed the setting on the box to plain text so it'll show up when pasted in and be easily edited down to the SW704122 part
