strange problem with viewing a forum

? ........On loading the 'bird forum' everything is fine, the page loads, I see all the posts but then......suddenly......just before the page has completed loading.... the page re-loads........and goes and shows 'view all forums'. ........

OK, I get around this by 'stopping' the page loading by using the X on the IE toolbar.....but

I never got this prob before yesterday which tells me a bug has ensconced itself somewhere.

btw...i HAVE to use dial up!!

No problems with me. Have done as above and it all works fine. No idea why your PC should do this.

The site is behaving strangely tonight. So it's probably not your computers fault.
Even on broadband the speed is variable. I sympathise with you on the dial up..

Glad to hear that I am told 3 have been aproved and can view them , when I click on the link for each one I am told I don't have permission and there not there any way so I guessed things were a bit slow. Thanks for letting us know

.....dial up is a pain, no solution unless broadband wales gives me a satellite system!.....cause of attenuation issues as I'm so far fro the exchange.

......just heads-up with this glitch really. first logon of the day, if I choose 'bird forum' as the first page I visit, I get re-directed on the very last part of the page upload, to all forums. however, if I choose to go to the bird forum after I've stopped it and viewed a thread..........It loads OK.

There have been other times it doesn't load too, but may be worth bearing in mind if other software probs occur.

Polecat, there are software speed increasers for dial-up, Onspeed costs £20-25 (Amazon) and was used sucessfully for years until broadband came to the area of Wales my friends live in.
