Thread Attachments or the Gallery?

Hi,
I recently added some pictures to the main gallery and had them removed for the following reasons -

Thanks for your recent submission to the Wild About Britain gallery.
Unfortunately we have not been able to include your image of a Jason Green -
Damselflies, because the image is out of focus , because the title is incorrect.

When I reach 25 posts could I attach them to a thread instead of using the gallery? I did use the camera's digital zoom so the quality may have been reduced, but the angles are there and I wanted three of the ten I submitted identified if possible. I am quite pleased with one - a Variable Damselfly, 'uncommon and scattered' in England yet common in Ireland.

Would this be OK?

Jason, I'm sure you can attach them to posts before you reach your 25. Upload them in the Forum Images or, the ones that need identifying, in the Unidentified Images gallerys. Copy (CTRc) the Forum Image Code and paste (CTRv) into your forum posts. You can put more than 1 image into a post as long as you copy and paste the code for each image.

I would post pictures into the Gallery but they were turned down. If I post them again, they may be turned down again. Would it be different if I posted them in the Unidentified gallery? I tried the video tutorial but it woudn't load.

The Unidentified and Forum galleries are not moderated, so nothing gets turned down

Thanks for the reply, I'll post the Unidentifieds ASAP. What are the general thoughts towards 'ID requests'? I find it very interesting.

I'll have three Damselflies later.
