| | | timed out during upload If at the end of uploading a group of pics, having taken a bit of time to look up species etc., the final message after 2nd stage Submit is a log-in window, have they gone and need to start again, or did the 1st submit put them onto site so one can just edit comments/titles?
If not...er could timed logout be blocked between 1st and final submit please ?

I'll have to look into it, but as far as I know, we don't have any timeouts in place for uploads. Timeouts usually come from your own browser or connection.
That said, I can't see why you would have been logged out, which may have something to do with your cookies, or something at our end.
Unfortunately, we can't see your uploads until you've completed both stages, but I'll have a dig around and see if anything on WAB may have caused the timeout.

Cannot see them waiting to be moderated so suggest you upload them again. Will keep a watch for any duplicates and deal with.

| | | Re: timed out during upload Thanks for sympathetic response guys, maybe get stuff ready to copy and paste off site first.
I am on a 'rationed' 1GB/month broadband deal and in a way it would be nice to think Eclipse are helping me keep within it rather than deliberately leaving a browser with limited/no activity running. Also set cookies 'session only' as some tend to tell their friends and relations.

If so, you should never need to log in again. |

| | | Re: timed out during upload Thanks both,
I hadn't spotted that 'Remember me' box before and have now ticked it. I use Opera browser and have been logging-in using its Wand feature, which means I just have to click on the Wand icon on the toolbar and I'm automatically logged-in, so logging-in has not been a problem, its finding that I have, unbeknown to me, been logged-out that I have been finding annoying. It could be the firewall, I recently put a new one on called Online Armor, it does seem quite severe (it is also highly rated and free which is quite an attraction) if what I've done so far doesn't work I'll root around in the firewall's settings. | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
