Unidentified Spider in Bathroom
earlier this morning, while watching some of the spiderlings mooching around the Steatoda web in our bathroom, we spotted a tiny (~5mm long) 'Jumping spider' on the window frame. I only managed to get a couple of shots before it disappeared and none are very clear, but can anyone hazard a guess as to the species?
The closest we can come, pattern-wise, looking through our books is Heliopahnus cupreus, but the legs and behaviour (i.e. not typically found in houses) don't seem quite right. We live in the middle of Southampton, Hampshire, if that helps.
