ID: harvestman in Suffolk
Taken on 5th July this year. I think it might be Opilio parietinus

Hi Brian, and welcome to the WAB forums.

Its hard to tell from that image (any more ?), but i would suggest it could be Odiellus spinosus, definitely not Opilio parietinus ...

Thanks Gordon. As the background (an eggbox) may suggest, I found it in my moth-trap (a Skinner with 15W actinic bulb) after running it overnight, and so only took the one photo. I guess a rural garden would be the right environment for Odiellus spinosus, and Dick Jones' "The Country Life Guide to Spiders" implies they're active at night on walls, so it would all fit.
