Thanks for the suggestions. I too saw photos of steatoda nobilis & thought it looked similar, but I'm no expert & I was only comparing photos. Sorry about the quality of the photo, I don't have much of a macro.
This one's not very big really - I'd guess a total length (head to bum) of about 10mm
I have got another one who hides in a crack in my conservatory which must be at least 15-18mm in body length, but it's a shy creature & only tends to come out at night. |
