Hi
The kids found this chap in the bath this morning and I was wondering if it's a false widow? False Widow?

Well after seeing this photo I think I am sharing the conservatory with one of these!!! 
It has been occupying a top corner with a web draped across it for the last month or so,it tends to cling under the web waiting for its dinner.....lovely looking spider,must try to get a photo for a positive I.D....

I had one climb out of my washing basket. It was no problem just to gently pick it up and put it outside though. I've never come across any aggression with them.

Just had a look to see if it was visible and it was.....here is a hastily taken photo taken 10 minutes ago.Is this a false widow??
