The kids found this chap in the bath this morning and I was wondering if it's a false widow? False Widow?

It has been occupying a top corner with a web draped across it for the last month or so,it tends to cling under the web waiting for its dinner.....lovely looking spider,must try to get a photo for a positive I.D....

| | | Re: False Widow? I had one climb out of my washing basket. It was no problem just to gently pick it up and put it outside though. I've never come across any aggression with them.
