Made me smile
I watched the other day as a spider ran along its web and flicked off a leaf that had got stuck in its web. Never seen that before, they really must like a tidy house!

If you are trying to lure flies, etc, into your web you don't want anything which makes the web too obvious; and wind rocking the leaf would make vibrations like an entangled prey species.

Spiders are cleverer than you think.
