Question Id please
Hiya please excuse me if im wasting your time and asking something that should be basic knowledge

i spoted this spider in camber and couldnt resist snapping it due to the sinister face on its abdomen and would just like to know more about it

That's a nice one - definitely Nuctenea umbratica, the walnut orb-weaver with that oak-leaf shaped pattern on her back. One of my favourites.
