Hi naturegirl, if you reread my post you'll see that my previous post states that we don't have any 'Widow' spiders (Latrodectus) in this country as opposed to 'False Widow' spiders (Steatoda)which we do have. I have found resident Steatoda grossa as far north as Llandudno.
Jokent said they weren't aware that we had 'Widow' spiders over here and I was making a point about the distinction between the two.
