Found in sandy scrub. Our paths crossed whilst I was on a foray, so took the oportunity to get a couple of shots before it wandered off.
Collins Field Guide suggests that the "lack swelling of long dark hairs on the tibia of leg 1" suggests it could be A. pulverulenta.
I would appreciate comments or suggestions regarding my tentative ID, please.

| | | Re: Alopecosa sp A. barbipes have the bright line running along the side of the prosoma, below the eyes; also the males have thickened tibia I with black hairs, like this one.

I hadn't realised that the tibia was thickened, not having a comparison to go on.
