Small black spider and a watchful parent

I think no1 is a male Araneus diadematus, and no2 looks as if it could be a female Enoplognatha ovata.

As no1 is a male, it is very much smaller than the ones you normally see. With E. ovata, I have not seen an egg deposition before, and the photos are not the best, but the line of dark dots are quite distinctive.

Thanks! I have only seen a stripy E. ovata before. This one narrowly escaped the recycle bin because of her light colour on the dark leaves. A very secure nest for her eggs though. Have put her where I can monitor progress.
