Bit gutted actually because I wanted it to be a Spitting Spider

metallina species have a different abdominal pattern and do not normally look that chunky, have a look at Andrew Cunninghams recent "2 from Ashclyst Forest" thread in this forum, for an example.
Spitting spiders are wierd looking things, quite small, with inflated head sections as big as their abdomens and sparse black spots on a pale buff background. |
