Speedy spider help?

Hello people,

I've found a couple of these spiders around my home (Maidstone, Kent). So far all those that I've found are sadly no longer with us. I managed to get an image of one that had a slight headache perhaps concussion. There about 2" in length, seem to like running into dark spaces at a decent pace and take three or four swipes with shown Lucozade bottle (500ml) to stop

Any ideas as to their id would be great

Would hazard a guess at Tegenaria species

Looks possibly like Tegenaria domestica (Domestic House Spider).

And the reason it's so speedy is because it's drunk all your lucozade

Is there a reason you feel the need to swipe at them with a Lucozade bottle?
They're completely harmless to humans and will keep your house fly-free
