| | | Spider lying flat for id if poss This in the garden today is small in body but long in width - about an inch from the tip of its longest leg to the tip of the opposite leg, and mostly wants just to stay spreadeagled on a buddleia leaf, but stood up briefly when my finger got too close. Just to know what family would be a bonus. Thanks for any help. |

| | | Re: Spider lying flat for id if poss Thank you ladyhawk - that's just what I needed! (And when I googled Harvestmen/ Opiliones, to see if I could learn a bit more, it said 'Over 6400 species of Harvestmen have been discovered... ) at which point I decided to label it 'Harvestmen Order Opiliones' - job done ! |

| | | Re: Spider lying flat for id if poss Thanks Gerel! I didn't think I'd wake up in the morning and find I'd been told the species even! And (having now googled all about it) how nice that it's a clear cut one, once you know it! Appreciated!
And yes indeed it does Hedera! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
