I just took this photo and looking among the threads here it'd seem it's a house spider. Can anyone confirm? Thanks in advance.
Edit the white stripe on it's back is I think just reflected light from my camera flash. |

| | | Re: Is this a house spider? Thanks for the reply. Having had a look on google images I see now that what I at first dismissed as reflected flash is in fact part of the cross markings that help to distinguish it. |

These are everywhere at the moment. Getting some great photo's of them! I'm currently addicted to watching them web build, it's amazing that they can complete it in less than 20-30 minutes!
