What is this spider please?
On our nature ramble at Killinallan, Islay today we saw a few web-like cocoons like this on the rushes. Inside this one we can just see a spider. Can anyone tell me what it is and what it is doing please? Laying eggs? Thanks,

Think it's Larinioides cornutus.
