Spiders nest? ID if poss
Hello

They caught my eye when I inadvertently knocked the leaves they were attached to, saw the movement as they went scurrying for safety. I went out about half an hour later and they were back in a cluster. I've seen another photo of this in the Gallery but is it possible to ID these spiders from such a tender age?

Garden spider Araneus I think but some with more ideas about spiders will id for definate

It certainly looks like Araneus diadematus. I normally find them a bit earlier than this. But I suppose I am in the far south, and beside the sea.

Thank you both, it would make sense as I seem to normally have a lot of these in my garden, quite noticeable with they're beautiful markings.
