Black and white spider
Taken by my brothers friend, no other info except it was around 5mm. I have never seen this spider before, any ideas?

I would say Araneus Diadematus, the colouring is unusual, unless you live in a place where it is the usual. Colouring is very variable.

I was wondering more towards Meta species, but the colouring is all wrong????
