| | | Re: 7 spiders for i.d. 1. Tegenaria sp. (nice pics, especially the third one)
2. Could be T. montana - how big was it, when was it, and where was it?
3. Clubiona ? (guess)
4. Looks like Zygiella x-notata.
5. Lycosidae
6. Lycosidae
7. Looks like Zygiella again.
Happy to be corrected on all above.
Cheers. Nik.

Nik. | No 2 is on a nettle (for size ). It was taken 6/5/11 in Northamptonshire. I only suggested T.montana by looking at pictures as I have very, very, little knowledge on spiders.
Is there any way of determining which tegenaria spider no1 is? It was huge! |

Number 2 - that's on a nettle? Plants are not my strong point by any stretch, but my local nettles don't look like that!
Anyhow, I 'm not inclined to go any further than Tetragnatha sp. for 2, or Tegenaria sp. for 1. Someone else might.
Cheers. Nik.

Oops! Not a nettle. I don't know what it is on. Most of my photos that day were taken on nettles so I didn't look properly. Sorry | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
