| | | Micro Spiders for ID please Just spotted these tiny little spiders on the Camelia in my garden.
I accidentally touched a strand of the web with the camera & they dispersed immediately.
They have now, interestingly 10 minutes later, reformed back into the 2 clusters they were in when I took the first pic.
Any ideas on what they are please?

| | | Re: Micro Spiders for ID please Araneus diadematus is the most likely candidate, my polytunnel has loads. If you blow on them very gently they will disperse, then to reform when you stop.

The Garden Spider eh!
I hope they 'stay' in the garden 'coz they are right next to the patio door, would rather they didn't come in thankyou very much!
Especially as there are so many of them!

Especially as there are so many of them! | They are each others food source, in my opinion. You don't get plagues, you just get fewer and fewer larger spiders. Then one big bully and lots of corpses. Not literally, of course, but you get the idea.
