Running across leaf litter, fairly big probably 10 or 12 mm. It kept on running so I only managed a couple of quick shots.
I'm not quite sure about the eye arrangement. It is difficult to tell which is an eye and which is a pollen speck; but the front row of eyes appear to be wider than the second.
I keep looking at the obvious candidates but can't agree on any of them.
A second opinion would be helpful. |

| | | Re: Not sure about this one Thanks, that is certainly going in a different direction from where I was looking; but those relatively long legs were one thing that was confusing me.
I did think it was a little bigger but I was running after it and trying to focus the camera so I may well have over exaggerated the size.
A rather pale coloured male could well fit.
