hello everyone,i'm new to this site and i am finding my way around the relevant discussion sites.But anyway,sat in the garden i observed as title suggests a small slow moving metallic green beetle,ive looked in books (not very good ones ) and cant identify,can anyone enlighten me ,cheers. |

I think we'd really need moree info - size and shape, especially but a photo, however rough would be best. Best of all, if you hope for a response, don't put it in the spider thread! |

Hi Anthony and Welcome. Did it by any chance look anything like this? 
And about the size of a small ladybird?

Hi anthonyg, try googling 'green dock beetle' and see if that's what you found as I have seen lots of these about at the moment but it's only a guess, and welcome to WAB
