| | | Not seen anything like this before... I found this spider on an Alcamilla mollis (er, spelling? sorry) plant. Possibly and orb weaver or crab spider, as the front four legs are very long, and the back four legs and much shorter:
White abdomen with parallel black lines on it, black head with a pale mark in the centre, two sets of white legs (hind sets) and two sets of BLUE legs (front)! The upper parts of these legs, closest to the body, are blue, and then they become brown and pale after the first joint.
Anyone..?

D | Could be a Zebra Spider - Salticus scenicus? How big was it?

Surely a zebra spider is black and white and bounces around everywhere? I usually find those on the edges of plant pots and on the stone slabs of my patio. |

Now we know size, hopefully there will be some answers coming along.
