Unidentified spider - south-east Derbshire 16.4.11

Morning.

Any suggestions for ID of the below spider? I can't find anything resembling it in any of my books.

This was photographed yesterday 16.4.11 at Lock Lane Ash Tip, south-east Derbyshire. The habitat is primarily bramble/scrub with a lot of nettles. Size of spider is apprx 20mm nose to tail.

Apologies for the poor quality photo, my camera is not very good but I am hoping the spider is distinctive enough that someone might be able to point me in the right direction.

Seems like pisauridae to me.

Having already discounted Pisauridae at the time (this spider just 'didn't seem right' for that), by process of elimination I am now thinking it probably is. The habitat is certainly good for them.

The markings seemed out of kilter with other Pisauridae I have seen locally but I know the markings can be highly variable.
