| | | Small jumping spider..? I'm pretty sure this is a jumping spider of some sort. There are clearly two large eyes at the very front of the head. 4mm in length.
The front pair of legs are black with white tips. The head is huge and is also black. Palps appear the same colour as the lighter legs; light brown.
The adomen is light brown/yellow with stripes of dark brown triangular-type shapes, with very dark spinnerets and a yellow underside.
Thanks for any advice,
proving a real help with my assignment

| | | Re: Small jumping spider..? As a guess, I would start by looking at Heliophanus cupreus or the similar H. flavipes. One of the Evarcha species could also be possible.
This site may help Jumping spiders Salticidae
But there are quite a few rather similar species. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
