| | | ID : Tenegaria species? Evening,
Whilst doing a long overdue clear up of the garage I came across several Tenegaria gigantea spiders of various sizes and found what might be a darker variant or another species completely. Whilst photographing it before release it would clasp it's legs into a protective ball. I have been through Roberts but am no wiser so can anyone advise on this specimen please?
Regards,
Andrew. |

Thanks for that, it is much appreciated. It looks nothing like the plate in Roberts so I clearly need some more books to cross check.

| | | Re: ID : Tenegaria species? Afternoon,
It was quite substantial but not as large as the largest of the T. giganteas. I would say about a centimetre give or take a couple of millimetres. I can't be more precise than that as I released it.
