My average night temperature (jun,Jul,Aug) is about 14.5C, waking up to find the temp didn't drop below 17C is common in tose months. Even September is a warm month normally. Frost is not that common in winter once or twice a week if you where to average it over the winter. The average frost temp is between 0C to -3C (cold night). -5C/-6C once every couple of years, snow extremely rare.
As far as i'm aware Steatoda Nobilis is still mainly restricted to the southwest, south coast and a few big cities in the south. |

Oh, Ian, believe me I know only too well that many spiders I would love to watch don't come anywhere my area.
The riff-raff comment was an ill-fated attempt to suggest that we had some choice and not just worse climate.
