| | | Spider for Identification Hello,
Could anybody help with the identification of this spider:
It was found near a pond on Bookham Common, Surrey if that is any help
Any help is greatly appreciated.

| | | Re: Spider for Identification This is a Pardosa species. Hard to say which one, but it could be a P. lugubris or one of its lookalikes.

Many thanks faz and frits_b you were really helpful  Had a look at Pardosa lugubris and it looks like a likely candidate. I don't think the legs were quite right for it to be a raft spider but it does look similar.
