| | | Spider ID please My daughter just found this spider(ling?) in her bedroom. She says she's seen a few. It's tiny. What is it?

| | | Re: Spider ID please It's a bit difficult to say for certain, but considering the size, colouring and from what I can see of the eye grouping it may possibly be an Oonops species, ( Oonops pulcher being the most common or Oonops domesticus found in houses). If you can get a close up of the eyes there will be six as opposed to the usual eight. Also it looks to be mortally wounded I'd say!

Sadly, yes and not intentionally I hasten to add! My daughter was upset when she realised.
Is this a fully grown Oonops?

I will try to get a close up.. | Fully grown Oonops sp. are only 1.2 - 2mm fully grown so your specimen probably is. O. domesticus is nocturnal and lightning fast when running on walls.
