| | | Linyphiidae? 3mm Hi,
From 23rd April 2010, I found it on my pond and put it on the stones at the side. It looked to be making webbing. Any clues to a genus would be great!

| | | Re: Linyphiidae? 3mm It looks very similar to drapetisca socialis (the invisible spider) and the size is about right. Don't take my word for it as I am just having a guess at i.d. |

| | | Re: Linyphiidae? 3mm Thanks 2dogs, I'm afraid I don't know these well enough to say, but I have found some which look similar.
Strange thing is I have pics from last year of a similar spider on a puddle of water on top of a water barrel in December. I know it was very cold then, it seemed to be making a web there! I've got that down as 2mm, it has black on it's carapace and head too.
I should maybe post those too..

The one from last year has mottling on the middle of the abdomen but not on the sides, I'll post that too as it could be the same.
