Looks like a type of hunting spider...lyk a wolf spider or something

Can't say which one though - spiders aren't really my domain lol

I'll leave that part to the experts

I'd agree John, perhaps Pirata tenuitarsus?

Yes I think you're right with Pirata for genus and tenuitarsus is certainly a close match visually. The spider measures 4mm if that's any help.
