| | | New here - Spider ID please... Hi all
Recently, I've started getting a real interest in actually identifying the spiders that I've been photographing, and I have to say that it's really interesting and makes you grow quite attached to the ones around the house
I've got the hang of the Araneus diadematus (start nice and easy, eh?!), but there are several that I'm not sure about. Here's one that I'm hoping someone can help me identify:
I realise now that I'm asking that I probably should have taken some other angles, but I'm hoping that the spindly legs, large body and (for me at least) slightly odd looking face might help with ID.
Thanks for any help

| | | Re: New here - Spider ID please... That's a harvestman; I think it's Oligolophus tridens, but someone with more knowledge may well correct me.
A harvestman has only one body section, and 2 eyes at the top of the carapace.
A spider has 2 body sections and usually 8 eyes, some have 6.
