hedgerow spider for id please.

Good evening all. I presume male and female. there was a third lower down possible a baby. these two appeared to be trying to pull it up on a thread. Spotted in a mixed hedgerow with dozens of webs. Can anyone name them please. regards tn.

I'd say the female is Metellina, not so sure about the male, but presumably the same species.
