My pet House spider

I found this beauty on my garage window. He/she needed to go when I painted the window frames, so I put him/her in an old container where she made a lovely funnel web.
She's an agressive one. One hover fly a day and I have to get my fingers out of the way quickly. I don't want to find out whether those vicious fangs can pierce skin !!!

Yes I enticed her out for that photo by stroking the web with a piece of grass. She was out in a flash, I had her grabbing on to a small twig the other day and she wouldn't let go !
Thats why I'm not keen to let my fingers get too close. But she's a great pet and very interesting to observe on a daily basis.
I'm just wondering how big she will get if I keep feeding her daily.

A spider makes a good subject for captive observation, your beast will live in avery small area with no problems and probably produce an interesting web. Feed as you are doing now and it will grow, but a couple of weeks without food will cause no probs. Do note what happens and what you feed, the interest can come from quite subtle changes.
