Small white spider with red lighning strips???

Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of spider has a white body and red stripes down its back(kind of like lightning),It was very small and quite creepy! It was found walking over my son and he nearly had a heart attack! As it was small i was able to get close enough to get a couple of piccys of it,i have tried to upload them on this site but it says the file size exceeds limit!
I am not a fan of the eight legged ones myself however curiosity has got the better of me Any ideas anyone?

Evening Cass, and welcome to WAB!

It's likely an Enoplognatha sp., one of the two Candy-stripe Spiders - both native and harmless.

Hi Jason,
Thanks very much have just looked up pics of the candy stripe and it looks like my fellow! So glad it's harmless(although that makes no diffrence to me,scream at them all! ).
