| | | Re: Gloss white spider with red diamond on its back Any further details like body size and shape, length of legs compared to body would be useful, but off the top of my head, try googling Enoplognatha species, or look through the WAB Gallery. There is a colour variant that is whitish with a red patch on the back of the abdomen. |

Had a look and No it's not the same.....
I think it's more like a red back... but REALLY GLOSS WHITE with a red, almost diamond on its back, size is about the same as a 5 pence peace.... and it did look mean lol The head was quite small, legs not that long but white ish, didnt see any webs....
Hope that helps
Also have looked trough the pic's and cant find anything but a red back that looks the same but colours are wrong.... ???

| | | Re: Gloss white spider with red diamond on its back Is that what this one is? Saw it yesterday. White like, opalescent glass, and you can just see the very strong red markings. I was looking at what was happening before I noticed the spider, and was leaning over a fence so not the best shot.

The males are rather different in appearance. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
