| | | Four spiders for ID please... This one was on holly in the woods...very small and shy, but there were lots of them. (battery ran out so that was the only shot)
These two live with several others the same under my windowsill. Woe betide anything that crawls under there!
While this one has sat on the wall about two feet under them, all day.
And this pretty thing was found on the laurel hedge nearby.
Any help with ID is appreciated for this complete spider novice. |

First picture I think is one of the Linyphiidae, but which one I wouldn't like to say...
Second picture is a Steatoda , most likely S. nobilis.
Third picture is a harvestman.
Fourth picture is Tetragnatha sp. I think T. extensa, but not 100% sure. |

| | | Re: Four spiders for ID please... Thank you John. I've had a little Google and I think the last one might be tetragnatha montana, so thanks for pointing me in the right direction. |

The first one looks like a juvenile Linyphia triangularis to me. The third picture shows an Amaurobius species.

| | | Re: Four spiders for ID please... frits, thank you, the Linyphia triangularis seems to be spot on. Not sure about the Amaurobius, I can't find one similar to mine, but I'll keep looking.
Faz, our posts crossed. I'm not so sure if that many spiders actually have common names, do they? |
