Which Spider?
What type of Spider was this on my landing last night?
Only about an inch in size tip to toe.

Afternoon Cord,

It looks like one of the House Spiders, Tegenaria species, a microscope and palp/epigyne job, I'm afraid. For future reference spider sizing is done by palp to spinneret, including legs that may be bent or not fully extended is too subjective.

The deflated abdomen I assume is on account of dehydration - needs a meal or three!
