Whats this - spiders wed/home ?
This web was woven around grass blades,what is the white/brown thingy on the inside ?.Can you tell species by this ?

Looks like an egg sac inside, already opened and presumably all spiderlings dispersed. The nursery web spider Pisaura mirabilis makes webs that look like this, there are a lot around at the moment.
