Please can someone tell me what spider this is. I have taken a few pics of it. It was crawling on my girlfriends towel this morning....

This is one of the common House Spiders, from the Tegenaria genus - they don't all have English names so we have to use the Latin.

| | | Re: Spider for I.D - This scared me!! These spiders create egg-sacs, from which the spiderlings leave. I'd be surprised if there wasn't a 'sac in a dark corner nearby!
How long was it roughly, head to abdomen-tip excl. legs?
